Talleres Berasategui is a leading heavy sheet metal manufacturing company specialising in curving very thick metal sheets to manufacture ferrules and cones for steam boilers, water boilers, drums, heat exchangers and rotary kilns etc.
Our manufacturing centres on the capital goods, cement, chemical, energy, and offshore industries, amongst others.
Equipment goods:
Our manufacturing plans include all types of accessories for capital goods pertaining to the aeronautical, paper, naval and nuclear industries etc. We specialise in curving and welding very thick sheet metal, which can be up to 300 mm thick and with a maximum width of 3600 mm, to manufacture ferrules, cones, irregular shaped cones etc.
Cement plants:
We work with leading engineering firms in the manufacturing and installation of Rotary Kilns, Rock crushers, Ball mills, Drying mills, and reinforced entry/exit ferrules.
Energetic plants:
In the energy sector, we specialise in the production of equipment for simple or combined cycles of Gas Power Stations, conventional Thermal Power Stations, and Desulphuration and Denitration plants in Coal Power Stations.
Offshore:
We have participated in different projects for the structural manufacturing of offshore platforms based on welded ferrules. This includes the Buzzard (ENCANA) Project, in which we have been collaborate with Dragados Offshore since 2007 to manufacture 1,250 tonnes of structure for an extraction module in the North Sea.

BEFESA ZINC ASER Turnkey Project:
Client: BEFESA Zinc Aser.
Project: Design, manufacture and fitting of a Refrigeration Tower, kiln and dual exhaust flue system section.
Total Weight: 150 Tonnes.
Materials: 16 Mo 3, AISI 321 and H II.
Buzzard Proyect:
Client: DRAGADOS (ENCANA)
Project: Manufacturing of a tubular structure, supported by reinforced welded ferrules.
Total Weight: 1,250 tonnes.
Material: P-460
Active participation in the production of a tubular platform structure in the North Sea and the mast for the crane. Pipes with a diameter of 1200 mm and are between 30 and 75 mm thick with base materials P-460. Their lengths vary between 3 and 16 meters.
BENDING CAPACITY RAISED BY 80%
