BENDING CAPACITY RAISED BY 80%

January 2010 will see the start-up of a new sheet bender with a total capacity of 1500 tonnes. This investment will increase our cold bending capacity by 80% and our hot bending capacity by 300%.

This new machine will allow us to bend sheets up to 140 mm thick using cold operations and up tom 300 mm thick for hot bending, and in both cases the sheeting can be as long as 3200 mm. To do so we apply constrasted hot and cold shaping procedures, as well as calibration of used equipment.

DELIVERY OF TURNKEY PLASTER KILN

On 20 August we finalised the replacement of the plaster kiln at Saint Gobain Placo Iberica´s plant in San Martin de la Vega after a 6-month manufacture period at our workshop and an assembly period of 2 weeks. The kiln was put into operation withouta hitch.

The project involved design, preparation of workshop plans, manufacture, assembly and start-up of a revolving kiln for processing 6 tonnes of plaster per cycle.

This kiln is the smallest model we manufacture, it weighs 15 tonnes and is produced using Hll material.
